ðĪšHow your moves are declared and battles are fought
So, the first example. You choose your gang's square as the next turn. In this case, your gang's total Defense points for that square and the enemy gang's total Attack points (see below for calculations) will be calculated based on all moves made to that square during the game round. At the end of the game round the winner is determined at random, based on the weighting of Defense and Offense points. For example, the sum of Defense points of Gang 1 is 11, the sum of offense points of the enemy Gang 2 is 9, the sum of offense points of the enemy Gang 3 is 13 - in this case, two Gangs attack simultaneously on the same square, and the third is defensive. Thus the probability of successful defense for Gang 1 is 11/(11+9+13), the probability of successful attack for Gang 2 is 9/(11+9+13), and the probability of successful attack for Gang 3 is 13/(11+9+13). At the end of the round, based on the above probabilities to determine who will own this cell during the next round, ie won the battle, each player who took part in the battle changes the number of Authority points up or down (depending on who he was at the end - the winner or loser). How and by how many points does the Authority change and what happens to losers and winners of battles we will consider below.
Second example. You are positioned on your Gang square and haven't made a move this round. You see that the enemy Gangs will attack that cell and have a serious advantage in attack points over the defense points of your cell. You have two choices:
Stay on this square, i.e. defend it from attackers, but given the above factors, your chances of success are low, and this is fraught with loss of Authority and ending up in the Hospital.
Make a move to the adjacent square, thereby avoiding the attack. You gave up the option to defend the square, thereby further reducing the chances of its successful defense, but you will remain with untouched Authority points and your share of the gang's income will not change
In turn, if this square is captured, the gang's overall income will decrease.
Thus, you should constantly analyze the situation on the game map to participate effectively in battles and come out of them victorious or, in doubtful circumstances, to avoid being hit by the enemy.
